WIP Wednesday...Getting Caught Up Edition

I was mighty productive while my computer was off on vacation. It's amazing how much other stuff I can get done without it calling my name.

Here goes!

Bee Blocks

The Christmas Bee is over and that just leaves the 12 Month Bee so I only have one block to make for September, ONE! Well, two actually. She did ask for two. Anyway, I'll work on them Friday night at the stitch and bitch.

Farmer's Wife Quilt Along

I went and got myself all caught up last week! Now I just need to make last week's blocks and this week's and I'll stay that way. I'm still not rushing myself on this one, I'm ok with doing 12 blocks at a time actually, so I'll get caught up again eventually. Anyway, here they are altogether. I'm not going to photobomb this post with the individual blocks since there are so many, if you'd like to see them just click on the picture and it will take you to Flickr where you can see them in my photostream :)

Double Wedding Ring Quilt Along

204 out of 254 arcs done!! I still haven't decided on a solid for this one so again, I'm not in a hurry.

DWR in progress

For the Love of Solids Swap

I've sashed it, I just need to trim it up and then get it basted and quilted. That won't take long with the design I have in mind. I also need to work on my small gift to go with it. I'd better hurry, deadline is only a week away!

Ogee Quilt Along

It's D-O-N-E

As you can see I did end up putting a little pop of pink in there. I realized if I turned the the pieces upside down it would make a heart!

I call this one The Lonely Heart.

Ogee Quilt Along/Curlicue Crush finished

I quilted it with random wavy lines, really big ones!

This was a "make it work with what you have" type of backing.

Back of Ogee/Curlicue Crush Quilt

I forgot to order binding and scoured the LQS for something that would work. I found a fat quarter of this print and thought it was perfect, but only a fat quarter. It was OOP and there was nothing left on the bolt. With a bit of persistence though I was able to find a 1 yard cut in one of their special 5 yard bundles of coordinating fabrics sitting on a shelf. They were kind enough to separate the bundle and sell it to me, yay!

I'm SO glad to have this one off of my list!

Bree's Donation Quilt

I finished this one too! I forgot to take a picture though and am running out of time, so I'll post a picture of this one next time...

Lollipop Bento Box

I told you this one was coming off of the hold list! I have it quilted and would probably have it done had my computer not been returned to me. Seriously, I started quilting it last Thursday night, got the computer back on Friday and didn't finish quilting it until Monday night. A 48" square quilt. And no, I didn't work on anything else in the meantime. Oh well.

That's it! I actually haven't started anything new, go me! I do need to get to work on Bug's birthday outfit, her party is a week and half away. The prize just might involve some of these...

....but I'm not tellin' ;)

Ooh, Julie! Everything looks scrumptious! I love your solids swap; wishing I were participating in that one! And your Ogee is lovely with that sweet little heart in there! I think I'm going to have to lock myself up with my sewing machine and all my UFO's (with no access to my computer or new fabric!) to get anything done!

Wow - Look at those fantastic FW blocks and wedding ring arcs. :D I *will* make a double wedding ring quilt some day. Hopefully in time for my 25th anniversary in 3 years!
