Gorgeously Ghastly Glass Jars from Not So Idle Hands

Hey there, Cauldron Crafters!

Have y'all ever visited Emily over at Not So Idle Hands? The girl's got some serious talent, and it extends into some RAD Halloween ideas! Check out all of these.

Today's craft involves a few non-sewing supplies: some recycled glass jars (spaghetti sauce? I can't cook, thank you. I use the jarred stuff.. perfect jars!), a little tissue paper (seriously. Like one sheet of each color), and mod podge. I used black electrical tape instead of paper.

So I saw these glass jars of hers and had to give it a try. She has a full tutorial posted here, so there's no point in me attempting to redo her tute - it's perfect. So just head on over here and peek at her tutorial and make your own... wickedly cute, plus mega cheap. Gotta love it.

Mine turned out like this:

For real! Aren't they so freakin' awesome?!?! A little over an hour of playing around with some tape and glue, and you have such a cool piece to put in your window or on a shelf.

Thanks for the tutorial, Emily!

Don't forget to link up your projects over at the Fabric Donkey for a chance to win the Riley Blake Doodlebug Designs Trick or Treat Fat Quarter Bundle! It doesn't have to be a sewn craft - just has to be something Halloween!
