Wicked WIP Wednesday

Hey Cauldron Crafters!
(And welcome, WIP Wednesday-ers!)

It's been a while since my last WIP Wednesday post with Lee - I've been working like crazy on all these cool Halloween projects and didn't want to spoil any surprises, but I think it's time!

In progress:
Mostly small projects. A few trick or treat tote bags:

I have one totally done, and one that I'm stuck on the design for. Kid picked out the lining for the second one:

He loves stars. And triangles. Go figure.

Also on the cutting board are a few more pillow covers. I nabbed this rad swatch on Spoonflower's Free Swatch Day:

and am pairing it up with the purple stripe from Sprinkles from Little Things and some Kona Coal... not 100% on the design yet. Any helpful hints for a pillow cover design with a central focal point like the 8"x8" swatch?

Witchy Console Runner:

Another Halloween project in the works - a runner for my tv console! I've been playing around with the (free!) gnomeling pattern from Artisania: http://artisania.wordpress.com/free-patterns/ and turning them into witches:

SQUEE! RIGHT?! I love it! I'm not sure on the design for this. It's sorta just evolving as I go. Updated photos will be in the Flickr Group!

On Hold:

Ogee - need to add my borders and applique, then baste and quilt it. I have time. It's a Christmas gift... but I've carved out a weekend soon to work on it!

KSQA - My poor KSQA keeps getting pushed down the list since it's for me - but I have an entire week of sewing coming up in October!
