How Working Moms Design

With impromptu design walls, of course. Did you know that those icky cubicle walls make lovely design walls for little squares? Hello, sweet sunkissed sunshine, brightening up my office!

I'm spending my lunch break tracing my templates to cut for the Ogee Quilt Along!

Haha, my coworkers are rather used to my desk looking like a fabric store - I often bring in hand sewing or small things that need to be cut- applique shapes and what not. I even tote in my accuquilt to use on my lunch breaks, lol! The walls work good with small squares - these are 3.5". The 5" charms seem a little heavy and tend to fall off after a bit, but 3.5" is perfect!

I don't think I would be able to walk by your cubicle without pulling up a chair and staring at it with you!

I forgot to say...I used to crosstitch when I worked in the Nursery and used to scrapbook at the nurses' station when I worked L&D. Everyone said I was crazy...until they saw how much I got done during down time staring at babies sleeping and monitors beeping!

Oh my goodness, that's a fantastic idea! I'm so sad that I didn't do this before I moved from my fabric wall cubicle to my smooth-walled one. :(
