WIP Wednesday #25

Is it just me or does Wednesday come around really fast each week?

The advantage to this is it helps keep me from slacking off :)

Here we go!

Ongoing Projects

My thread finally came in on Saturday and I got right to work on my Supernova.
By Sunday afternoon I was putting the last stitches in the binding.

Here's a little sneak peek

Come back tomorrow for the full post on it. I wanted it to have it's own so I can link it up with Lee for the big drawing!

With that out of the way I really should have gotten to work on my Naked Bed Challenge quilt, it's my next deadline on June 3rd. But I have to do lots of cutting for it and this is what my cutting table looks like right now.

All of that denim is actually for the quilt, and there is the backing folded up underneath it. I just really didn't feel like tackling that mess just yet.

And I felt bad about my poor string quilt not having seen the light of day recently, so I got back to work on it. This is what I have so far

I have a dilemma with this quilt though, I ran out of fabric. So back onto hold it will go :( I need it to be a little bit bigger.

The Ogee/Curlicue Quilt Along has started, here are my preliminary fabric choices

It's not enough fabric, the pattern calls for 20 fat quarters. I'm going to include some of that solid and once I figure out how much then I can add some more fat quarters to this.

I also managed to sneak in another quilt top while at my Stitch and Bitch Friday night. Bree sent me an awesome kit for a tumbler quilt for her Quilt for the Kids charity project, complete with pre-cut fabric, batting, backing and binding. I was able to knock the top out that night and will baste it next time I do some basting.

Last but not least, my sneak peek project is finally done! I'll post about that one later too.

Wow, now that I laid all that out there I can see why my laundry is backed up!

Projects on Hold

On the Road to Spring Quilt Along-I might pull this one out this week and knock the quilting out. I'm tired of it being neglected.

Lollipop bento box quilt

Strawberry Lemonade snowball quilt

Strawberry Lemonade ritzy cracker quilt

Dill Blossoms hexagon quilt

Project given up on

Bella Parade-I don't normally give up on things but this one will take a lot more work than I have time for. It's a lot of fun and has some awesome prizes but there is some stiff competition in the picture taking part of it! I did sign up to be a contributor and pick some coordinating fabrics to go with the color of the day for one day, I'll be sure to fulfill my obligation of course :)

All right, I'm signing off so I can get back to the sweat shop.

I'm linking up with Lee, go check out everybody else's progress!

I haven't really been a fan of the Parisville fabric line until I saw your Supernova. It may have changed my mind yet.
